What we do
We run the screens, and everything that gets your advertisement onto them
Oriented Networks builds and operates the advertising network inside buses. That covers the equipment on the vehicle, the software that feeds it, the creative work if you need it, and the record of what played afterwards.
Hardware
Screens inside buses
A digital screen is installed inside the passenger cabin of each bus in the network, in a position agreed with the operator. Passengers see it for the length of the journey, and on a regular route that means the same people at roughly the same time each day.
The screen and the media player behind it belong to us. The operator keeps running the route, and we keep the equipment working.
Creative
Advertisement creation
Not every business has an advertisement ready, and that should not stop a campaign. Send us artwork if you have it, in the format we specify. If you do not have it, tell us what you sell and who you want to reach, and our team produces the creative for you.
Sound is rarely usable on a bus, so the advertisement is designed to work on the picture alone. A passenger should get the message from across the aisle without reading a paragraph.
Scheduling
Campaign management
Once a campaign is booked we set the schedule: which routes it runs on, for how long, and how often it comes round in the playlist.
Changes during a run are normal. A new offer, a festival week, a price that moves. Send the new file and it goes out to the fleet without anyone visiting a bus.
Targeting
Route and location targeting
Advertising on a bus is local by nature. The route decides who sees it.
You choose the routes and areas that matter to your business and we confirm what is available. A showroom on one road, a clinic serving two neighbourhoods and a restaurant near a college campus all need different routes, and none of them should pay for coverage they cannot use.
Software
Cloud content management
Every screen pulls its playlist from one content library. Updates go out over the mobile network, and each player keeps a local copy so playback carries on where the signal drops.
That is what makes a network like this practical to run. Nothing is loaded by hand, and nothing waits for a bus to come back to the depot.
Proof
Monitoring and reporting
Players report what played and when. Screens report whether they are online.
That gives you two things. We usually see a fault before you would, and at the end of a run you get a record that can be checked against what was booked instead of taken on trust.
Tell us what you want to advertise
Send us the routes or the areas you care about. We will come back with what is available and what it costs.
